Sydney Anderson (Nebraska) has earned the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Week honor for the matches of Nov. 2-8. On Monday, Anderson was selected for the Big 12's weekly offensive player award. The six starters hit over .400 on the night, including Brooke Delano's .833 hitting percentage (10-0-12), which was the sixth-best outing in school history. At ISU, Anderson had 39 assists and a season-high three aces as NU hit at a .327 clip. The Huskers became the first team to hit .300 or above against the Cyclones in 34 matches dating back to last season, while handing ISU its first home loss of 2009.
