Destinee Hooker (Texas) and Kelsey Chipman (Kansas State) have been honored as this season's final Big 12 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for matches of Nov. 23-29. Hannah Werth (Nebraska) has been tabbed the Rookie of the Week for the sixth time.  It marks the second straight weekly accolade for Hooker while she ends her career with a Big 12 overall record (13).  Chipman receives the third nod of her four-year tenure.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Destinee Hooker, Texas, OH, Sr., 6-4, San Antonio, Texas/Southwest
Hooker averaged 6.00 points and 5.33 kills while hitting at a .500 clip and committing just three attack errors in 58 swings.  She added 1.83 digs and 0.67 blocks along with a pair of service aces. In UT's sweep of Oklahoma, Hooker registered a match-high 18 kills on 35 attempts (.486). The 2009 Big 12 Player of the Year also had seven digs and three total blocks. Hooker headlined the UT offense on senior night against Kansas. She produced a match-best 14 kills, .522 hitting percentage, four digs, two service aces and one block. Hooker led the Longhorns to a .526 attack mark, the third-best single match outing in school history.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kelsey Chipman, Kansas State, MB, Sr., 6-1, Topeka, Kan./Washburn Rural
Against No. 8 Nebraska on Wednesday, Chipman contributed 10 blocks to help the Wildcats post 17 as a team. It was the most blocks allowed by Nebraska since 1998. Four of her blocks were solo stops, en route to posting her fifth career, 10-block match; the second-most in the program's history. The four solo blocks are also tied for second in a three-set match. Against Texas Tech on Saturday, Chipman posted six block assists and 12 kills. She averaged 2.43 blocks in her final week and moved into a tie for ninth in career block assists in Big 12 history and the No. 2 spot in the K-State record book.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Hannah Werth, Nebraska, OH, Fr., 6-1, Springfield, Ill./Glenwood
Werth averaged 3.33 kills and 4.83 digs in a pair of sweeps last week, leading the Huskers in digs in both contests. She picked up her 11th double-double of the year, establishing team highs in both kills (13) and digs (13) against Kansas State. The 2009 Big 12 Freshman of the Year had nine of her 13 kills in the first set, as Nebraska fought off five set points before winning, 32-30.  Against Colorado, Werth paced Nebraska with 15 digs and added seven kills and a service ace.
Defensively, she also played a key role in helping NU hold both opponents without an ace.
