NSCAA Scholar Athletes Announced

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced the Division I Scholar All-America Teams and regional teams on Thursday. The awards included three Oklahoma State and two Kansas student-athletes honored for their work on and off the field.

Courtney Dike of Oklahoma State was named to the Scholar All-America Second Team. The accounting major netted a 3.85 grade point average and was named the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Year after ranking in the top ten in multiple conference categories this season.

In the regional awards, Kansas’ Tayler Estrada was named to the second team and Hanna Kallmaier to the third team. As exercise science majors, Estrada notched a 3.35 GPA while Kallmaier earned a 3.98.

Oklahoma State’s Dike, Michela Ongaro and Natalie Calhoun were named to the All-South Region teams. Dike was a first team selection while Ongaro placed on the second team and Calhoun received third team honors. Ongaro, a Master’s Business Administration student, earned a 3.88 GPA. Calhoun is a marketing and management major with a 3.31 GPA.
