The 2017 Big 12 Soccer Semifinal games are set for Friday as No. 1 Oklahoma State takes on No. 5 Baylor at 4:30 p.m. CT while No. 2 West Virginia will play No. 3 TCU at 7 p.m. CT.

The No. 1 Cowgirls notched the 2-1 victory over No. 8 Oklahoma. The Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year Haley Woodard notched the first goal of the game while OSU’s Anna Beffer became the nation’s leader in assists after recording her 12th of the season earlier this afternoon.

No. 5 Baylor produced a come-from-behind win over No. 4 Texas after scoring their first goal in 87th minute to push the game to overtime. In the 98th minute, Lauren Piercy notched the golden goal to defeat the Longhorns.

The No. 2 West Virginia Mountaineers secured their role in the semifinals with a 3-1 win against No. 7 Texas Tech. Heather Kaleiohi recorded the game winner in the 68th minute.

When two overtimes could not decide the game, No. 3 TCU advanced in a shootout after tying No. 6 Kansas 1-1. The Horned Frogs netted four penalty kicks to solidify their place in Friday evening’s match. Kayla Hill, Ryan Williams and Allison Ganter produced the goals.
