The first round of the NCAA Soccer Championship concluded for our five teams this afternoon. Four Big 12 teams advanced to the second round. Baylor, Oklahoma State, No. 4-seeded Texas and No. 2-seeded West Virginia are slated to take the field next Friday, November 17.

This marks the best opening round showing for the Big 12 since 2008 as four teams earned a place in the second round. For three of the last four years, at least 50 percent of Big 12 teams have recorded an NCAA Championship berth. The third round is scheduled for next Sunday, Nov. 19.
