Conference Athletes Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

The National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced the members of the 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players with a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers.

Twelve Big 12 football student-athletes have been named to the honor society. Qualifications for membership include being a starter or a significant contributor in the athlete’s last year of eligibility at an NCAA or an NAIA college or university, achieve a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout their entire college career and meeting all progress towards degree requirements.

Big 12 representatives include; Mitchell Meyers (Iowa State), Kane Seeley (Iowa State), Will Davis (Kansas State), Joe Hubener (Kansas State), Ian Patterson (Kansas State), Matt Seiwert (Kansas State), Ruben Hunter (Oklahoma), Samaje Perine (Oklahoma), Jordan Burton (Oklahoma State), Matt Boggs (TCU), Justis Nelson (Texas Tech) and Tyler Orlosky (West Virginia).
