The No. 9 seed TCU equestrian team fell Saturday in the semifinals of the NCEA National Championship to No. 5 Texas A&M, 16-0. Marking the the second-straight semifinal appearance for the Frogs, and is the second best finish in program history.
TCU kept things close in the overall points, but were not able to overcome Texas A&M in the matchup.
Senior Hunt Seat rider Kari Hancock was honored before the start of the championship round of the NCEA National Championship for her outstanding academic performance. Hancock was named Elite Equestrian, the rider who had the highest GPA out of all the student-athletes in the semifinals of the Championship.
