TULSA, Okla.- Arizona State holds the 36-hole lead at the Big 12 Men’s Golf Championship, navigating Southern Hills Country Club at +1 after two rounds. The Sun Devils’ Connor Williams is the individual leader at -4.
ASU boasted the best round of the day, a 3-under 277, to begin play at the par 70 / 7,556 yard course that hosted the 2022 PGA Championship. Oklahoma State trails by four strokes at +5, followed by TCU at +19.
Williams is one of two players in red numbers after the first two rounds, joined by his teammate Josele Ballester, fresh off an appearance at The Masters Tournament, who sits at -1. Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout, who tied for medalist honors at the 2024 Big 12 Championship, signed two scorecards of even-par 70 to sit in third place.
