IRVING, Texas--Craig Corriston (Nebraska) and Shawn Tolleson (Baylor) have been named Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for games of March 10-16 in voting by a media panel. Both student-athletes are recognized for the first time.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Craig Corriston, Nebraska, 1B, Sr., Paris Texas/Paris JC
Corriston guided the Huskers to a 5-0 week, including a sweep at Kansas State while extending Nebraska's win streak to 13 games -- their longest since 2000. He hit .579 (11-for-19) with six runs scored, four doubles and four RBI. Corriston also stole a pair of bases and recorded three multi-hit contests.

The Paris, Texas native tied or established career highs in hits twice during the week, including his first career four-hit game in the series-clinching win at KSU on Sunday. Corriston went 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in the 11-4 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday. In the series opener on Friday, he drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly in the ninth-inning.

Corriston finished the week with a .591 on-base percentage and a .789 slugging percentage. He was also perfect in the field on 49 chances.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Shawn Tolleson, Baylor, RHP, Fr., Fairview, Texas/Allen
Tolleson pitched a complete-game, two-hit shutout in Baylor's 3-0 win over Oklahoma State on Saturday. One of two hits allowed was a bunt single in Tolleson's first career complete game and fourth start overall. It also marked Baylor's first complete-game shutout in Big 12 play since 2006. He held the final 22 batters hitless and retired 13 of OSU's final 14 batters, allowing only a leadoff walk in the ninth. Tolleson recorded a career-best six strikeouts.
